What Is Losartan?

What Does Losartan Treat?

Losartan is approved in Hong Kong for several common cardiovascular conditions:

• High blood pressure (hypertension). By widening the blood vessels, Losartan helps lower the pressure that the heart has to overcome.
• Heart failure. It can be added to other heart-failure medicines to improve symptoms and reduce hospital visits.
